Strawberry Lemonade Gose | Sycamore Brewing

Style: Gose

ABV: 4.8%

Strawberry lemonade is the perfect refreshment for those hot afternoons, but a gose with that style and taste is even better. I dug the canning, the feel and artistry that Sycamore uses is key when your going through a bottle shop to snag that much needed brew. The yellow and red colors with the vibrancy sort of popped, especially in those shapes that made up the label. I loved their "Mountain Candy" and their lager is rad too so I had to try this Gose. The body was hazy and held a solid pinkish color to it while at the top of the beer was this thin and carbonated foam head. It mellowed out so fast that the brew reminded me of that juicy sunny day drink. The aroma at the nose of this beer was sweet and I got hints of some lemon zest while most of the strawberry notes came through more and more in the flavor profile. It was sweet and tart on the first taste, but held a almost crisp backbone to break up that fruity forwardness. Their was this lemon aftertaste that rounded out the style and added a much needed tart character. I appreciate unique Gose only because I prefer the more complex variety in these sweet brews. Loved the color, the sweetness, and the juicy profile so thank you for Sycamore!
